Well its hard to believe its here already. If anyone can come in at around 1030 to help set up it would be great.
I will be cooking my pig all night long - slow cook so the meat falls off the bone. Meatballs, Pasta Salad, Hot Dogs for the kids and plenty of drinks.
I am also looking for Coaches to help keep track of times and reps.
Email me if this is something you can do.

nick

what should i do instead of rowing? i dont have a machine.

nick

sorry but i also dont have a medball...i dotn have any money or i would invest in one... maybe once i get my next paycheck. what abt doing the motion with a 25lb plate? and run 1 mile for rowing? i dont know the equivalents im new to this.

steve b

when it says row 500 meters you can sub it for running 400 meters (1/2 mile).
thrusters are a sub for wall balls.
you can buy a cheap basketball and drill a hole in it about 3/4 inch. take a funnel and fill it with sand. make it whatever weight you want 14lb or 20lb. then patch it with a bike tire patch and now you have a med ball for about $5 instead of $120.
good luck Nick.
If you have any other questions email me on the upper left side. might be easier.

Nick

What a great turnout and so much energy! Everyone did fantastic and gave it their all. How nice it is to see competitors and spectators from all over cheering everyone on. What a great community we have all become!!!
It was a pleasure to see Gaye again. I met Gaye and her husband a couple of weeks ago and invited them to join us today. Gaye was extremely impressive. An elite athlete who enjoys CrossFit with her husband at home and a triathlete competitor and coach as well. Great job!!!
Dan M from CrossFit 305 was another site to see. I am amazed that you blew through all that we did in 13:11. AMAZING!!!!! Great job!!!!!
John S. from Affliction also blew through it in 13:26. You guys are ANIMALS!!!!!

Just feeling normal again... icing my butt and packing up my stuff for my trip. I'm gonna go check out Primal Crossfit in DC when I'm there & show them how we do it Crossfit Affliction style... the best box in South FLA!

Mike B

That was fun. It's great to see such a good turnout. I think our box showed we can compete with the others in So Fla. John S. is the man.
P.S. the definition of "Suck" is wall balls.

Dan for CrossFit 305 is a freak.

John Skidmore - well we all know John.

Dan had a big advantage going after he seen Johns time. Thats not taking anything away from Dan.

I would have loved to see those two battle it out in the same Heat. But then again - They may have pushed it a little too hard. Good thing we had 3 or 4 Doctors there.

If they would have passed out they would have gotten a great adjustment, and clean teeth. lol

Oh, and we could have checked the arches in their feet.
